Many employers offer Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs) which allow you to set aside a portion of your paycheck in order to pay for qualified medical expenses.
The money you decide to set aside is deducted from your paycheck and transferred directly into your FSA. After incurring eligible medical costs, you can then submit your receipt for reimbursement from your FSA.
The good news is that orthodontic treatment usually qualifies for FSA reimbursement. If your employer offers FSA and you know you’d like to invest in a nicer smile and straighter teeth, plan ahead and consult your benefits department. How long does orthodontic treatment take with Damon Braces?
When we first meet, we will determine how much time we believe it will take to straighten your teeth and create a smile you will be happy with for a lifetime. With the Damon System, we have found treatment time is typically much faster than with conventional braces.
I have heard that my teeth will hurt after tightening?
The nice thing about Damon Braces is that we do not “tighten” your braces, because Damon Braces uses a light “shape memory” wire that is changed every few months. Many people experience very little discomfort. Most people who do experience pressure or pain find an over the counter pain reliever will alleviate most of the discomfort.
I don’t want big, ugly, bulky braces?
Damon Braces are much smaller than traditional braces. They do not use rubber bands that make traditional brackets so much more noticeable.
I am an adult, can I still have braces?
